  This is one of the old template I have crafted. Not many photos have been taken.  When I crafted this template, I do not have an indentation pen. If I do, the connection flaps on the hand may be smoother and less visible.  Good thing about this template is that we only need to craft one hand since the other hand is hiding in the sleeve.   I think it all started with a tiny box-headed Miku as she whispered: 'You cannot afford all my figurine, at least you can build for yourself. Using paper, of course.' Then the next thing I know I was in the middle of the below project.    There is no specific order where we want to start first, it can be the background, toe to head or head to toe. I personally would like to start from the face, one of the most important and difficult part of a character papercraft. A good template designer would normally provide multiple copies for hands and faces, indicating these two areas have the highest possibility to be done goofed.  I got two faces in this case, not perfect but the right one is clearly not smooth enough between eyebrows. 'Smoothness' is the ultimate goal we want to achieve while building character papercraft. Backhead can be a relaxing part.   Mentioning Japanese Summer Matsuri, what will you think of? I finally get to have a rest after losing all my hair from study and work.   But hey, my hair can grow back. (Not sure about yours though)   And grow back... Putting on my favourite yukata, and hanging out with friends. Enjoying goldfish scooping, candy apple and fireworks.
